About me

I believe my gift is in coaching clients to shift from purely logical, linear thinking to leveraging deep insights by integrating feeling, sensing and intuiting.

I started my doctoral program aspiring to be a Professor of Computer Science at a University, but ended up being an Engineering Leader, a Leadership Coach and a facilitator. In the last several years, I also became interested in long lasting impact of stress and anxiety at work - something I call ‘corporate trauma.’ I have immersed myself into studying the topic of trauma and associated healing modalities to help my clients. As part of this work I ended up teaching somatics, tension release exercises, breathwork and the Realization Process. Starting as a graduate student some three decades ago, I couldn’t have imagined this is where I would land. But I am loving and enjoying where I landed!

All that I do is deeply influenced and informed by my years of experience in leadership roles in technology and my work with leaders in helping them get to higher levels of success and fulfillment. This experience and my understanding of business helps me connect with my clients, get into deep conversations, challenge some of what is said, easily surface what might be left unsaid leading to breakthrough shifts and outcomes.

I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. I have studied and am certified in many contemporary approaches to leadership, strategic thinking, communication methodologies, coaching, somatics, mindfulness and trauma work. I am also certified as a Professional Certified Coaching (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

“Kishore enabled me to go through a holistic transformation in my leadership journey. While my persona, value system, and experience may have gotten me through the door to a leadership role in my career, internally I felt a lack of conviction, confidence, and a lack of clarity in my leadership thinking and methods.  Kishore's intuition about where I was getting stuck, areas I wasn’t exploring, and what I wasn’t articulating about how I really felt, were critical in the discovery process.  He supported me through systematic exploration, realization, and operationalizing the learning into lasting habits, and an impactful leadership style.”
